Alliance: Promotion of Ty McClain to Sales & Inventory Manager

Alliance Steel, LLC, and Alliance Tubular Products are proud to announce the promotion of Ty McClain to the role of Sales & Inventory Manager.

Ty began his career with Alliance in 2019 as part of the Sales Support team in Memphis, where his dedication and strong work ethic quickly set him apart. He was later promoted to Operations Manager, where he played a key role in supporting day-to-day operations and driving efficiencies across the business.

In his new role as Sales & Inventory Manager, Ty will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting customer performance in areas such as consumption rate, margin analysis, and inventory position.
  • Collecting and reporting weekly quoting and sales data to management.
  • Suggesting corrective actions and inventory strategies for underperforming accounts.
  • Monitoring tubing stock levels and inventory aging to guide production and disposition decisions.
  • Supporting Alliance’s service center customers with timely information on available inventory.

Reflecting on his promotion, Ty shared:
